HUN’s Musical Advent Day 20

December 20, 2010

T-minus five days and counting… Today’s tune is probably the last of the new songs, as I will be dedicating the last four days to traditional Christmas musical fare. For today, we have Christmas Eve by Firefox AK and Tgr Lou.

This song has a lovely pared-back guitar on it and the duet vocals have an eerie, ethereal sound to them. The whole sound is very reminiscent of Jose Gonzales and lends itself very well to this contemplative song. Nice.

Join me tomorrow as we slide gracefully towards Christmas with some old favourites.

Oh yes, I like that one. Beautiful song.

I think you should angle for this to be a compilation album to sell next Christmas. :-D

Oh this song is lovely. I have never heard it before. My DH plays guitar and he will absolutely love this one too. Yes, occasionally we agree on music. lol

Thanks for introducing another new one to me. I’m kind of sad that you’re playing old favorites over the next 4 days. I loved hearing all the new stuff because it was really new to me.

What a lovely song. Except the drinking at half past noon on Christmas Eve. LOL
