Crowdsourced Sundays 3: Poison
Hello and welcome to week 3 of Crowdsourced Sundays. Carlsberg don’t do collaborative social media projects, but if they did they’d do this one.
I had a suspicion this week’s theme would be popular and well supported. I wasn’t wrong. The subject was WHAT’S YOUR POISON? In other words, train that camera on the glass, bottle, or half-bucket in front of you. A great range of tipples were submitted, from the sublime (fine champagne) to the ridiculous (a bottle of piri piri sauce – I ask you…) and all make it into the gallery below. First, here is mine…

Given where I’m from and who I am it was only right I celebrate tipples with a Yorkshire origin. The research was the hardest bit but I’m willing to suffer for my art…
And here are yours… (hover over the pics to see the contributor, click to open the lightbox viewer, pictures are randomly ordered so every time you visit they will be laid out differently)
A great selection of beverages!
This week’s challenge was really what Crowdsourced Sundays and the flashmob concept is all about: getting the prompt and just taking the shot there and then! This is really the way to go. No one wants to climb Mount Kilimanjaro just to get a photo on my blog. The gallery above was another great collaborative effort. Thanks to everyone.
Come back on Friday 2nd March for the theme of Week 4. As ever your support is appreciated and your promotion is encouraged. Tweet or retweet the blog, mention it on your own blog if you have one, do whatever you can to help propagate this project. Every week we’ve had new contributors which is fantastic!
Until next Friday, crowdsourcerers…

Lovely selection. I am so glad I am not the only one who submitted a picture of their cuppa
As you say, a great set of photos. Btw – I might be climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro this week as I’d love to get a spectacular photo to put on your blog. Please keep this in mind when choosing next week’s theme. Ta.
I climbed KJ many years ago. If you do get up there, can you take some photos of the glacier on top? Would love to do a compare and contrast.
I have to admit there are more cups of tea on there than I thought there would be…
Did you get to try the Black Sheep Imperial Stout last year? Good grief that was a superb drop.
My God, I think I’ve just died and gone to Heaven seeing this. What a collection of piss-pots you’ve assembled (tea drinkers aside). I especially love those Yorkshire bottled ales. I did a ‘tourist’ trip to the Black Sheep brewery once. I love the rivalry of the family story behind it. We’re due a trip that way next Easter break. I shall toast you.
Yay! I love it.
An awful lot of livers were harmed in the making of this blog post, I’d warrant!
Ooh, so many drinks, so little time.
